weight & support

Our standard 1-1/2" thick concrete slabs weigh in at appx. 16.75 lbs. per square foot. Typical floor load ratings should meet or exceed at least 40 lbs. per square foot in most areas. Any conventional cabinetry or millwork, custom or catlog quality, will support these slabs. The weight is distributed over a great area and should not be a concern when specifying our pre-cast material. For cantilevered or unique applications, contact our offices for technical assistance in engineering the necessary support structure.
