Stainless, like all metallic surfaces,  will scratch, but our proprietary sueded finishing technique imparts a finish that is non directional, and therefore, very easy to maintain vs. the traditional #4 appliance grade finish.  Sueded finishes can be easily refinished and re buffed by the lay person at any time with a small palm sander and scotch brite pads. This type of maintenance cannot be done on traditional finishes.  Sueded finishes also fingerprint much less.
