Depending on the configuration, seams may be expected in a typical layout
for several reasons:
- Length of countertop run.
- An L- shape configuration, or U-shaped configuration.
- On either side of large sink openings.
- For purely aesthetic purposes. (i.e., specific reveals to match millwork or
puzzle fit seams.)
Concrete seams can be compared to seams in either granite or marble.
We recommend the use of 100% silicon (clear) as a seaming medium. The result
will be a clean, flexible, watertight seam. If you are unsure of where you
should specify seam locations, fax us a plan view and we can return several seaming
options for your approval.
