Bid requests,
specifications, & lead times.
How do I
request a quote?
A
request for a quote can be faxed, e-mailed, or mailed to us. The preferred choice is fax. If you do fax us the request, be sure to
fulfill all of the following requirements:
*
Dimension all drawings. Do not rely on scaled drawings to fax accurately. Dimensioned drawings will be quoted before
any scaled drawing.
*
Clearly indicate sink and
stovetop location. If you have dimensions for
these items, include them with the bid.
Sometimes a client will unknowingly specify a sink or stovetop that
cannot be accommodated, therefore, it is helpful to know the models ahead of
time.
*
Clearly indicate preferred
locations for seams. Read the product descriptions
and FAQ’s to identify parameters for individual products (i.e., don’t specify
seam locations that create sections larger than standard sizes if standard
pricing is preferred, or, larger than absolute maximums).
*
Clearly indicate backsplashes
and their respective location and height (standard is 4” high). If full height backsplashes are being used, send an elevation of
the backsplash illustrating all necessary cutouts, and their respective
locations. Again, if backsplashes are
to be seamed, indicate location of preferred seam.
*
Always note any custom
details
such as edge treatments, integral bowl sinks, inlay details, etc. and their
respective locations.
*
Always
include a destination address & zip
code. We cannot calculate shipping
charges without this information.
*
Always
include the account name and job name or
number. This is necessary to insure
finding your quote at a latter date.
All
of the above information must be included with all bid requests. We
absolutely do not give phone quotations, so please do not call to request
one. Requests that fulfill all of the
above criteria will always be prioritized.
How do I
specify the material?
Always
refer to the material specification sheet and FAQ’s for this information, or,
check the website @ www.soupcan.com
What is the
typical lead time I can expect?
Typical
lead times for standard countertop sizes usually range 5-6 weeks. Any custom detail, or oversized section,
will add appx. 2 extra weeks to your lead time. Custom color requests for concrete will add an additional 2-4
weeks for color development and approvals.
The lead time is based on
the following criteria:
*
A
purchase order or signed proposal must be in possession by Soupcan, Inc.
*
All
pertinent templates or construction drawings must be in our possession.
*
All
sink models and faucet information must be included with all orders.
*
A
50% deposit is required with all orders.
*
A
final color choice must accompany all orders if applicable.
If
any of the above criteria is not fulfilled, your order will not begin
processing, therefore, the lead time is
based on the date when all of the above criteria has been fulfilled, not
the check date, PO date, or template date.
We
do, on occasion, quote extended lead times due to heavy volume. Always check with our facility for projected
ship dates.
